The Ravens have hired former University of Florida defensive coordinator Teryl Austin as their secondary coach, according to the National Football Post.
Austin recently completed his first season with the Gators after previously serving as the Arizona Cardinals secondary coach 2007-09.
He replaces Chuck Pagano, who was promoted to defensive coordinator when Greg Mattison became the University of Michigan's defensive coordinator.
The way we see it
Austin spent seven seasons with the Seahawks and Cardinals before leaving for Florida, and will be faced with the task of helping maintain the Ravens' dominant defense after Mattison's departure.
